Sometimes diplomacy starts with a handshake. Other times, it starts with a breaching charge.

Matt Whitaker is a soldier, not a diplomat. He’s also the only human who can track like an alien Oniki.

And the Oniki need Whitaker once again… this time for more than who he can find, shoot, or kill.

They need an emissary.

Rumors have surfaced of survivors from a long-ago purge. The Oniki government wants them found, but the Dodeci colony would just as soon stay lost.

Then a radical faction emerges, one that wants the old ways back and the Dodeci destroyed.

Whitaker’s mission: find the Dodeci, and take down anyone standing in the way.
